IBM receives Outstanding Business Partnership Award

    In February 2003, IBM was honored with the Outstanding Business
      Partnership Award in the Large Business category,  for outstanding
       contributions to Will Rogers Elementary School in Houston, Texas.

Watch-me!-Read, software that uses
innovative speech-recognition
technology to help young students
learn to read, is in its fifth-year at
Will Rogers and is expanding into
all first-grade classes in Houston.
MentorPlace, which is now in its

  second year at the school, is currently working with approximately 50 fifth-grade students, with
a focus on reading and writing. This year's program kicked off with a pizza party at the school.
